Moreno Valley, Riverside County
March Field opened in 1918, which makes it one of the oldest military airfields in the western United States. It lies on the southwest edge of Moreno Valley and still operates as an Air Reserve base. The March Field Air Museum beside Interstate 215 displays dozens of historic aircraft, among them an SR-71 Blackbird.
